Forest honey is considered to be the most popular honey in Germany. It is delicious and also very healthy, as it contains the highest proportion of enzymes and minerals of all types of honey. The bees collect the honeydew secreted by spruce or fir aphids in the beautiful Black Forest.
The taste is very strong and bitter with a malty note that contributes to the full aroma and rounds it off. Its color is reddish brown and its consistency is thick.
